初二是初中三年中最重要的一年，因爲初二是學生成績兩極分化非常嚴重的一年，成績好的同學越好，而成績差的同學越差。有些同學想等到初三才認真學習，想提高成績，考入重點高中。但由於初二基礎較差而心想事不成。那麼，如何使自己的成績一如既往並有所提高呢？這就需要我們同學養成良好的學習習慣。古今中外的大量事實證明：一個人成功與否，主要不是因爲他的智力，而是取決於他是否具備良好的學習習慣，因此我們必須注重良好學習習慣的養成。渴望在學術上有所建樹，那麼，就請你儘早養成良好的學習習慣。在學校的學習中，一個良好學習習慣主要包括：預習習慣、上課習慣、複習習慣、自我提問的習慣、“不恥下問”的習慣、利用工具書的習慣。
1、“凡事預則立，不預則廢”。預習是首要的環節。預習的目的在於對將要學習的知識有個總體的瞭解，以便上課時有目的的聽講，集中精力解決好新課的重點和難點。所以，學習新課前必須預習。預習時要逐詞逐句閱讀相關學習內容，聯繫以前所學過的相關知識，深刻理解本節課知識的重點和難點，畫出哪些地方不會，並及時做好記錄，爲下一節上課做好充分的思想基礎。良好的預習習慣的養成，並不是一朝一夕的努力就行了，需要每天堅持預習。同時，在預習的時候應做到看、做、思相結合，做到眼到、手到、心到，不能把預習當作任務來完成，而要將它看作是學習新知識的'一個重要環節來看待。
2、上課是學生掌握知識的主戰場。上課的時候，課前要準備好所需用的課本、筆記本、作業本、工具書等，課上要認真專注地聽老師的講解和同學們的發言，要積極和老師配合，隨時跟上老師的思路和節奏，積極回答老師提出的每一個問題，對分組討論的問題要積極踊妖，敢於發表自己的意見和見解。同時，要養成一個善於記錄課堂筆記的習慣，要記錄學習的要點、學習新得、以及老師對教材的補充和延伸，以便逐步加深和更正自己對新知識的理解，不斷提高自己的自學能力。
3、課後複習是對知識的鞏固和消化過程。課後一定要進行及時鞏固複習，對課上所學習的重點、難點知識進行反思、總結，哪個地方會了，哪個地方還不會。
4、善於自我提問的習慣。從某種意義上講，學習的過程就是一個不斷提出問題並不斷解決問題的過程。善於提出問題，是自學能力強的標誌之一。5、“不恥下問”的習慣。有些同學有了問題，自己解決不了，又死要面子，不肯問人，這樣問題越積越多，學習就會陷入被動局面。
6、利用工具書的習慣。要解決那些自己不能解決的問題，除了向老師、家長和同學請教外，還可以利用工具書求得解答。學生都要備有必要的工具書，特別是《新華字典》《英語詞典》。

開學初，本班學生在中缺乏積極性，自覺性差，凡事都要不停地反覆的督促。佈置的任務不能及時的完成。而初二的英語教材相較三、四年級，又有所變化，起初孩子們沒有找好學習的切入點，所以我們在座有些家長就反映孩子的.英語成績較之前有所下降。一學期下來了，在強化課堂教學，抓好課堂效益上，我結合教材和學生的多方面情況，做了以下一些工作：
1、初二英語在聽、說、讀、寫方面的要求更加重要，我們儘量在課堂上幫助學生掌握知識，開展活動，讓他們在不知不覺中張口說英語。比如我們班莊園，王輝，錢勇，曹旭成，王聲康，許雅文等同學，每節課的知識和作業都能當堂掌握和完成。
2、興趣是最好的老師。英語課中多是一些情景對話，我們常常設置一個情境，讓學生進入其中，以表演的形式學習新知，樂在其中。如李傑，葛宇，逗號，潘建如，李浪，張朋順，周揚名，吳家佩，花尉揩，沈培歡等同學，經常表演和惟妙惟肖，讓人忍俊不禁的同時，其他同學也加深了對課文的理解。
3、孩子們都是要強的，我們舉行各式各樣的比賽，讓他們自發地要求進步。最近我們開展一對一的擂臺賽。孩子們學習的積極性高漲。如張峯瑋與莊園同學之間，楊冬煦和潘康同學之間，你追我趕，共同進步。我們也進行了一些簡單的測試，有很多同學較開學初都有很大的進步。尤其是張影，張自豪，劉俊傑，李傑，鮑勝凡，潘國光，呂文豪等同學。我們班同學，優秀的學生不僅成績好，在英語表達能力上也有提高，學習有困難的學生也不氣餒，一直在努力地向前衝。學習英語是爲了以後能與人用英語交流，平時有積累，最後就能收穫成功。讓我們一起爲孩子們營造一個開心快樂的學習氛圍，真正讓孩子們相對學的輕鬆，紮實，有效。
